Product information

Discover the Corbin floor lamp from Eichholtz, inspired by the library at The Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park, New York.

This lamp is a tribute to The Met's department dedicated to medieval art and architecture and adds a touch of exclusivity to your interior. With its brushed brass finish, adjustable height function and a gray velvet shade, handmade in the Netherlands, the lamp is both an elegant and practical addition to any home. The lamp is 20 cm in diameter and 146.5 cm at its highest.

HISTORICAL ORIGIN

The Corbin floor lamp takes its design from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Cloisters Library. The Cloisters, the museum's department for medieval art and architecture, opened to the public in Upper Manhattan in 1938. The Cloisters Library holds approximately 15,000 volumes exploring medieval European decorative art, sculpture, architecture, painting, stained glass and manuscripts. The American-style floor lamp features the same details as the lamps in the library, with an adjustable stand in a brushed brass finish and a gray velvet shade that is handmade in the Netherlands.
