A cast iron pan is the ultimate kitchen pan for those who really want to succeed with their cooking. Cast iron is a solid and thick material that keeps the heat evenly distributed, which means that the food is perfectly cooked on all sides. This pan has an exclusive wooden handle, which make it unsuitable for cooking in the oven. The pan requires minimal maintenance and only gets better with time. It can be used with all kinds of kitchen utensils, even metal ones.
The cast iron pan can be used on electric, gas, induction and ceramic stovetops.

Care instructions 1. A new pan is often seasoned but usually needs to be re-seasoned about 1-2 times a year. Do that by adding oil into the pan and then placing it onto the stove and let it heat up. Let the pan absorb the oil and then remove it from the stove and let it cool. Repeat if needed. 2. The best way to maintain the seasoning on cast iron is to use the pan often. 3. Gently clean your pan after each use with warm water and the firm scrubbing side of a two sided sponge. When you are done, dry it thoroughly with a towel or a paper towel until it is dry. Avoid using soap and do not put it in the dishwasher. 4. It is always a good idea to do a quick re-seasoning when you have the time. Store in a dry place.
