Akhtihotep Wall Object Bronze

Akhtihotep is a decorative wall sculpture that brings together the artistry of antiquity with timeless elegance. Crafted from brass with a rich bronze finish, it features an intricate relief design that adds depth and character to the wall. The motif depicts human figures carrying baskets of offerings on their heads, drawing inspiration from the art and traditions of ancient Egypt.

The design is inspired by limestone reliefs dating from approximately 2575 to 2551 BC, discovered in the tomb of Akhtihotep, a royal official and priest. The original reliefs are now part of the collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The raised detailing and warm metallic finish create a sculptural expression with a distinctive historical character. A refined decorative accent for a living room, entrance hall or study, bringing a sense of heritage and understated sophistication to the interior.
