    Trudon is the world's oldest light manufacturer. In 1643, Claude Trudon became the owner of a shop on the Rue Saint-Honoré, where he developed his business as a candle maker. His candles were bought by congregations and private homes alike. Thus, at the beginning of the reign of Louis the 14th, Claude Trudon created a company that would make his family's fortune.
